Roots | Born in Finland, childhood in Sweden in a family impacted by fleeing Stalin’s post-war reach , emigrating to Canada to Thunder Bay, university years on Alberta’s prairie, and finally settling to home and studio in the Ottawa Valley. Each of these places are reflected in the energy that flows through my artworks.
